Until today it wasn't possible for FREE members to enjoy our internal messaging and instant messaging (IM) services. As of today they can! The catch? It comes with a daily limit...

- What does this mean for GOLD members?
Now you can communicate with ALL members (FREE or GOLD) and as long as FREE members haven't reached their daily limit.

- What does this mean for FREE members?
You can use all our tools untill your daily limit has been reached. This limit also applies for receiving IM chats and internal messages (not great if you're a popular FREE member..).

This way our FREE members can really try out our tools and, if they find something they like, be inclined to become a GOLD member and enjoy our website and it's members without any restriction.

As of today localization has been added meaning we've added a huge database of all the states, provinces and cities of the world. The reason for this is to make things easier finding somebody in your region then with the old, non-formatted, information everybody put up.

For example: someone from New York City could fill in: New York, NYC, NY etc. Now he has to choose from a selection list wish keeps everything the same. New York (state), New York (city).

Another great feature is that you can select people within a certain range of your own city because we also have distances calculation in our database. Ofcourse we allready had a postal code feature for our USA members which solved part of the problem but this looks nicer and is easier to search by.

We recommend that everybody updates his/her profile with this new info to get better matches.

As of yesterday we upgraded our chatbox.

The new chatbox has the following features:

- video (webcam) support;
- audio support;
- create private channels for more intimacy;
- smiles;
- moderating;
- direct userdetails (profile info)

The purpose of Flingbase.com

The creators of Flingbase.com have a lot of experience in the online entertainment business. During this time we discovered there was no place to go for people with somewhat different sexual preferences then "the average person". While we have some other websites with no community and dating functionality and saw people were using all different kinds of solutions on these websites to get in touch with other people sharing their passions. Things like comments on video's and guestbooks were commonly used.

We created a platform where these people (and anyone else of course) can have their own online profile and find partners sharing their passions. This website contains all sorts of great features enabling all members to find exactly what they seek. This could be in their own region or, of course, on, for example, their vacation address.

Bèta period

Because no website is perfect when it is put online we will start off with a bèta period where we will invite 500 people to help us develop the website and create a base to work from. After the bèta period we will extend a Gold membership to everybody who helped develop Flingbase.com to continue their stay for free.
